FEATURES Approvals • BP200 Sound output meets SAE J1849 • Class A Constructed of a sturdy, cast aluminum housing The BP200 speaker is designed to perform in all weather conditions and is compatible with most Federal Signal sirens. Revolutionary Design The dual diverging manifold design of the BP200 projects sound more uniformly than conventional speakers. This means more sound projection to both sides, as well as to the front of the vehicle. The BP200 speaker incorporates (2) 100-watt Neodymium drivers to produce a full 200-watt of output. Designed to flush mount through the bumper of a vehicle attractively, the BP200 is available with a choice of two grilles. As a fire truck siren, the BP200-EF includes a polished, stainless steel “Electric F“ grille. The BP200-Q includes a backplate and the classic chrome-plated “Q” grille, a staple in the fire industry. BP200 Series mounting options The BP200 series of compact speakers are available with various mounting options to perfectly fit specific applications.

FEATURES Approval • SAE J1849 Completely Redesigned The e-Q2B® includes 200 W Class D audio amplifier for increased reliability and external diagnostics to monitor power, output voltage and current monitoring. Features include park kill input, which immediately shuts off the siren when vehicle is in park and horn ring input which allows the user to cycle through siren tones. The e-Q2B also has an audio output to work with the Federal Signal Rumbler Traffic Clearing System. Improved Amplifier Using DSP circuitry, the e-Q2B amplifier is able to accurately reproduce the trademarked “Q” wail rather than relying on a simple digital recording. DSP also enables the product to function either manually or automatically for hands-free operations (Horn Ring Transfer). The new Class D engineered system reduces operating current to 20 A and provides for a more robust, reliable system. Improved Keypad The push-button backlit, membrane switches and robust rubberized knob provide tactile feel to easily activate siren tones, air horn, PA and radio rebroadcast. In addition, the detachable push-to-talk microphone can be easily removed and replaced with customized plug. Volume control for microphone is located directly on the keypad for added convenience. Optional Siren Control Three external inputs allow for the use of externally configured foot switches to control manual wail, brake and air horn. FEATURES An Iconic Fire Truck Siren It's not a fire truck unless it's got a Q-Siren. With more than 50 years of fire service tradition and history, the Federal Signal Q-Siren® (model Q2B®) is a beautifully streamlined, chrome-plated siren designed to provide unparalleled reliability for long-life operation. When mounted on a fire truck, the Q-Siren delivers a powerful warning sound, more than any other electromechanical siren. The Q-Siren is available in traditional chrome and black chrome. The traditional chrome models are a compliment to the fire truck’s chrome bumper finish while the black chrome is ideal for blacked-out fire trucks. Longer Coast-Down Sound A heavy-duty coaster clutch is standard on Q2B models. The unique coaster clutch design enables the siren to deliver a longer coast-down sound once power is removed to reduce battery drain. The “worry-free” clutch is subject to very little wear and requires no service attention or adjustments. Use the standard electric brake to silence the siren quickly. . Pedestal or Recessed Mounting The Q-Siren is available in two Q2B models. The Q2B-012PSD and Q2B-P-BLK comes with a pedestal for bumper mounting and the Q2B-012NNSD and Q2B-NN-BLK are designed for recessed mounting in the bumper. For flat and curved apparatus bumpers, a special bracket, the Q-MT, is available. This rugged, durable mount is easy to install. Constructed of tough 3/8-inch steel, the Q-MT design protects the siren from the impact of rough roads. Hands-Free Operation For increased convenience, the Q2B-SWKIT foot switch kit is also available. The kit comes with everything necessary to wire a foot switch to any Q2B model enabling the operator to power the siren “hands-free.”
