ASP’s exclusive Ultra Cuffs represent the most significant advances in restraint design in more than a century. These handcuffs were designed, tested, revised, re-tested and perfected in the field, with input from officers and tactical instructors around the world. The result is a restraint system with materials, construction and a feature set that simply can’t be found in any other handcuffs:
• Forged aluminum frame: Forged from 7075 T6 ordnance-grade aluminum, Ultra Cuff frames are rigid and incredibly strong, yet lightweight. Forging—as opposed to the stamped steel parts found in other restraints—also eliminates rough or sharp edges; the smooth, rounded Ultra Cuff frame is more ergonomic, and safer for both officer and subject.
• Conical, flat contact bow: The geometry of the bow fits a wider range of wrists, and a flat contact area improves application speed and accuracy. Bows are also highly radiused, to prevent injury. Identifier Ultra Cuffs feature steel bows; non-Identifier models are available with either steel or aluminum bows.
• Dual-sided, single-turn keyways: Ultra Cuffs feature keyways and double lock slots on both sides of each frame, and both the primary lock and double lock are released by turning the key in a single direction. Double lock slots feature colored indicators that provide instant recognition of lock status. All of these features add up to making cuff application, adjustment, double-locking and removal faster and easier.
• Replaceable Lock Sets: The lock assemblies are unitized and replaceable. This allows them to be field-serviced when needed, and provides the unique option to change Lock Sets to suit different agency preferences, or to switch to a high-security configuration.* The construction of the Lock Sets, and their placement within the forged frame, also makes them highly-resistant to shimming.
• Colored Identifier bands: These permanent structural components provide instant visual recognition, to help differentiate property between agencies or officers. Some officers use color-coding to aid in subject identification in notes and reports.

ASP Handcuff Cases are a benchmade blend of the finest materials in a series of clean, functional designs. Each case incorporates an integral back pocket and included auxiliary handcuff key. They are ideal for non-duty belts and compatible with ASP Chain and Hinge Handcuffs.
ASP Defender OC (pepper spray) devices are unique in form and function. Unlike other self defense sprays, Defenders are designed to hold and activate horizontally—this has the benefit of helping to ensure the spray goes where it’s meant to, minimizing the risk of spraying in the wrong direction. It also supports the “Defender Forward” protective/reactive body position that ASP teaches in its Be Your Own Defender (“BYOD”) training classes. Defenders are able to operate this way thanks to a proprietary aerosol canister and valve system (together called the Insert). The Insert is replaceable, so if used or when a recommended change date (marked on valve) comes up, you don’t have to throw away your entire pepper spray device. Just discard the inexpensive insert, and reload the Defender with a new one.
The standard ASP “Heat” Insert (one included with the Defender) is packed with the exact same OC (Oleoresin Capsicum) irritant used by law enforcement. It’s a 10% concentration of 1.33% major capsaicinoids—a potent formula capable of quickly disabling an attacker, buying you time to get away. Inert “Test” spray Inserts are also available for practice, or for safely function testing your Defender. The D2 size Defender contains approximately twelve half-second bursts, with a five foot range (may vary with conditions). A D1 size is also available, with approximately six bursts.
The Metro Defender model is made of meticulously engineered and machined aluminum, so it’s lightweight yet virtually indestructible. It’s got a micro-knurled surface for a secure grip. Like all Defender models, it’s compact and discreet, so you can carry it anywhere. It features a quick, intuitive thumb-release safety and O-ring sealed dispersal port. Its solid brass actuator has a hole for attaching to your key ring as an alternate carry method..

Each expandable design provides easily concealed striking power. These are easy carry batons with the world class striking potential of an ASP impact weapon. Each is fabricated using ASP materials and ASP manufacturing techniques. They are finished using ASP coatings. Each P Series Baton is produced to the same standard of quality that has been adopted by police professionals in over 100 countries around the world.
Protector Batons are concealable. A 4140 striking surface is combined with a forged to shape 7075 T6 aluminum middle shaft and precision machined handle. The grip is fine line, Crosstec knurled with spiral micro grooves. The grooves accept Nexus baton clips. Batons can be carried tip up or tip down. The clip can be adjusted to a variety of positions along the handle to enhance concealment or ease presentation. Whatever the activity, these batons are easily carried and rapidly presented. A constant companion for control and defense.
The SideBreak Scabbard holds an F-Series Baton in either the retracted or expanded mode, ready for rapid presentation, while providing secure retention during dynamic confrontations. The design of the scabbard allows the shafts of an expanded Friction Baton to be pulled directly through the side of the case, for instant tactical deployment.
The case rotates through 7 click-stop detent positions in a 180 degree arc—so it will not rotate beyond horizontal and compromise the security of the baton—and features an adjustable internal clip that lets you set the amount of baton retention to your preference.
This tough, polymer scabbard features our exclusive Snap-Loc belt loop, which attaches anywhere on the belt without having to thread or unthread other duty gear. The belt loop features an indexed slide track and bar that adjusts to fit all common duty belt and dress belt widths, or MOLLE gear.
The SideBreak Scabbard is available in sizes to fit 16”, 21” and 26” Frictions—make sure to choose the correct size for your baton.
As the name suggests, the straps of the lightweight ASP Tri-Fold disposable restraints fold in three places, for ultra-compact storage on a belt or vest. When deployed, they provide wide open loops for fast and easy application. They’re perfect for crowd control, military use, aviation security and other situations where traditional handcuffs aren’t practical or desirable. The Tri-Fold straps are extra-wide, with smooth edges for safety, and run through a fully-enclosed ratchet block with a shim guard to prevent picking. Tightening the restraint is quick and positive, using either the included molded pull or optional, extra-long flex pull cord. Once tightened, squeezing the secondary compression lock buttons provides additional security. Once applied, Tri-Folds must be cut off—our optional Scarab Cutter is recommended for fast, safe removal.
The latest generation of Tri-Folds incorporate a new polymer formulation—perfected after over a hundred prototypes—that won’t dry out or get brittle, giving them increased strength and longer storage life. Tri-folds are available in black or high-visibility yellow, as well as a red training version that can be applied and removed repeatedly, without cutting.
